WHY SRHR Training
Adolescence is a pivot
stage filled with new challenges and responsibilities, hence the training
provided key information to adolescents and teen mothers
with a focus on preventing unwanted pregnancies, and sexually transmitted infections and
empowers them to make informed decisions about their bodies and futures. The
training focused on comprehensive education where adolescents and teen mothers
have had an opportunity to learn about bodily autonomy, reproductive health,
health relationships and access to services.
Forty-five (45)
adolescents and teen mothers were trained, Sexual and Reproductive Health
Rights, and voluntary family
planning services. Through the training, adolescents can make proper decisions
about their reproductive health.
The Sexual and
Reproductive Health and Rights training among adolescents and teen mothers is a
movement towards a healthier and empowered generation.
